Karen Parker | Founder & Chief Executive
From the front line to executive leadership
Karen Parker brings firsthand knowledge of frontline care and executive operations to skilled nursing leadership. A Texas Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator (LNFA), she has improved cash flow, developed census and payer mix, resolved Medicaid and reimbursement issues, and strengthened daily operating discipline.
Her skilled nursing career began in housekeeping, laundry, and dietary services before progressing through roles as a nurse aide, medication aide, nurse, and manager. She went on to serve as an Assisted Living Director, CEO of a behavioral health hospital, and Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator (LNFA), later expanding into broader healthcare and workforce operations. Additionally, her tenure with the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (now the Texas Health and Human Services Commission) provided her with extensive training as a Medicaid Eligibility Specialist.
That experience informs her approach: understand the work, identify the causes behind the results, equip people to act and build process so it stays solved. Karen connects financial performance with employee morale, clinical and regulatory readiness, and stronger hospital, medical and referral relationships. She builds teams around demonstrated ability, sound judgment and the capacity to act wisely under pressure. Every role matters; respect is supported by training, clear expectations and opportunities to advance.
